The Death of a Legend

Michael Jackson
1958-2009

Michael Jackson has become a part of everyday culture. His influence does not end only in his songs but they continue in his actions. Many people may not agree that he really did those things that he got sued for, but many cannot discredit the fact that Michael Jackson is a legend.

Born into a family of Jehovah Witnesses, Michael grew up with a strict father. He became the lead of the Jackson Five, a quintet featuring four of his older brothers. Later on Michael established himself as a solo artist with the release of Of the Wall, his first attempt in going solo. It equalled success, and with the release of his most famous album Thriller, which sold more than 50 million copies, making it the top selling album in history. With it, Michael established his reputation in the music world.

Michael, aged fifty, collapsed and never recovered. The doctors ruled it as cardiac arrest, but some may blame it on the classic: drugs.

I loved Michael Jackson's songs especially when he was part of the Jackson Five. I grew up watching his music videos on national television.

Farewell Michael. May you find peace in eternity.

A Say for Today

If right-handers use their left brain, doesn't it mean that left-handers are always in the right mind??
