HELP:selected... yay!

Well just to update what's been going on:

Dear Contestant, That's me!!
Congratulations!! You have been selected as one of the 30 finalist for our Psychology Challenge Grand Finals!!
Now, you are one step closer to winning a FULL scholarship to study psychology degree at HELP University College, the largest undergradute psychology program in Southeast Asia. All top 30 finalists will also receive a hamper and a certificate from us.

It was super awesome when I received the call...I wrote an essay to compete in the competition, and submitted it a few days before the closing date. The thing is: The essay took me technically four days to complete (I wrote earlier but I felt it wasn't right)!

I'm so happy cause I'm about to finish school--at sixteen--and I need to start something soon. I also have an interest in psychology...so:

Psychology+Passion=The start of something new :)

Well, if this course is God's future for my life, I will take the challenge!

How to Make Maggi Mee Goreng Without Fire.

I recently experimented with cooking Maggi Mee Goreng for two. I tried to cook it without using the stove, the most eco-friendly method possible. I succeeded!!

Here's how:

Items needed:

  1. Two bowls (preferably big. This will be your eating bowls as well.)
  2. Two forks
  3. Maggi Mee Goreng packets (As much as you think two can eat.)
  4. Hot water
What to do:

  1. Boil water
  2. Open ingredients into one bowl
  3. Put noodles in second bowl
  4. Pour hot water into second bowl
  5. Wait for noodles to soften
  6. When soft, pour water away
  7. Put noodles into first bowl
  8. Mix ingredients with two forks
  9. Split the noodles
  10. Bon Appetite!
This way you did not waste gas, water (you don't need to wash much), and time.

Hair Cut!!!

Never trusting my hair to a barber again!!

I went and asked the gut to trim it, and guess what, it's so short now that it dries in fifteen minutes!! My fringe is gone, my sideburns are too short, and my back doesn't touch my collar anymore. In other words, I look like a government school kid!

Now it'll probably take a few months for it to grow back! Want to hide from the world right now...or maybe get a beany?

Transformers

Finally, after weeks since its release, I've watched Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen...yay!!
In my opinion, it was better than the last one--in plot. It took the Transformers back to the beginning of man-kind. It continued two years after the first movie which was released two years ago...strange? It talked about President Obama and about the Swine Flu (Influenza A). The fight scenes were better directed too.

But there were a few 'problems' in the movie. They introduced so many new characters and did not develop them enough. I can understand if they do not develop the Decepticons but at least continue developing the Autobot's background. They didn't introduce the new Autobot Jolt, just Arcee and the twins...they didn't say the twin's names either. Then in the end battle, they introduced like eight plus Decepticons that looked like they were cut and pasted. One more problem...the twins looked so fake when they were in the desert's sun.

Other than that, I guess the animation was awesome as usual. Can't wait for the next movie!!

will he rest in peace?

After two weeks of waiting, the king of pop is finally buried. Now he can have some peace. I missed his memorial service but I know it was probably the biggest this year.

His memorial service was watched by thousands. I like the way Rev. Al Sharpton summed up Michael's life. He said, "There was nothing strange about your daddy, it was strange he had to deal with.

Now Michael Jackson lies in a coffin made out of gold. Will he rest in peace? Grave-robbers will probably try their best to steal the coffin--for both the coffin and its contents. Plus, apparently Michael is burried without his brain--the doctors 'needed' to perform more tests. Soon you will probably hear people on ebay selling 'michael's brain'...when that happens I won't be shocked.

Will he ever have the chance to rest in peace?

When did the Love Fade?

Noticed I haven't put any poems/songs up recently...hmmm
It's not that I've run dry, it's because I've got no time to post any.
So now finally got time to write.

When did the Love Fade?

This song is about the Earth, our Earth.

Chorus:
When did the love fade?
When did it die?
When the world is dying,
When it's slowly degrading,
We just stand and ask why.

What are we leaving behind?
What legacy do we have?
When we destroyed our world,
Hear me boys and girls,
What have we saved?
Verse 1:
Politicians said they'll care.
Tyrants said that they will save.
Kings said that they'll be fair.
Presidents said they'll behave.
All the lies of the leaders
Are no different from us.
We said we'll save the planet.
Just like the senate.
Verse 2:
Fathers said they'll be there.
Mothers said that they will love.
Friends said that they will share.
We said we want the dove.
What difference do we have
To those who are meant to save?
We said that we'll save the earth,
But we never moved a single nerve.
Bridge:
We are to blame; we should be full of shame.
This world would be a better place,
If we never came.

So what do we do? Instead of acting like a fool.
Let us make the world a better place.
Keep the skies blue.

A Say for Today

If right-handers use their left brain, doesn't it mean that left-handers are always in the right mind??
