Degree Stress much??

The reality of degree life has not hit me yet...and hopefully when it does, it won't be so hard on me...

I feel that HMC has really prepared us for this...maybe prepared us too much.  I'm seriously seeing degree like the piece of cake, but the truth is that it is the whole cake...(okay, not the best analogy).  I fear that I've become too desensitized from stress that I'm gonna take degree too easy and not do well.

I need a wake up call, and I hope my results won't be that wake up call...

Oh anyways, Sanctum was good!  Hear this: James Cameron has no BAD movies but he has only TWO good movies which are Titanic and Avatar. 

Oh I also watched Green Hornet! It's not as bad as you guys said it was...

Another sidetrack, my first midterms was fine :) Confident for a good score for this :D

When you say that there is nothing going on, why then do I not believe you? Letting go is harder than I thought :'(

A Refreshing Retreat...

CUG Camp was alright :)
The problem was that it was too short...it's quite hard to get a bunch of Col/Uni Students together for a whole week...


But the bright side was that it was fun..


I like the lack of activities where we could do whatever we wanted...from little matches of ping pong, to swimming in the river and hot springs not to forget the little games of monopoly deal. :D


The most enjoyable part of the camp is being able to watch God's creation.  Enjoy the scenery He has created...and feeling His presence surround.


I'm happy that there was time to chit chat...tho it was a serious talk and all.  They say that by only giving a piece of yourself will people only give a part of themselves.  That's what I did in camp, and I hope that the friendships there will be enforced...not the other way round. Please don't think that I'm awkward and the problems I have is because I am a problem...seriously that really hurt.  It's good to be able to have deep thoughts.

Well, I don't think anyone is gonna read my blog anyways, but for those who do, here's the post.

So went a few houses today.

Sure I got ang paos...

Sure I got goodies to munch on...

But the part is that, for the first day of Chinese New Year, I didn't visit any relatives.

Well, it's not like I ever did in the first place...

Every CNY I can remember, I've spent it with my parents' friends.

It's not like I have a hometown...

Ipoh is the only state I can call my hometown, but I know no one there...not anymore la.

Ipoh is my birthstate, but I'm the only one in my family born in Ipoh so it's redundant to go back.

I'm going to be content now...

REUBEN LIU!! BE CONTENT!!

I shall be content that I don't have to travel in 'jam-packed' highways...

Content that I'm eighteen now and my parents let me drink beer!! 

Actually, I think I'm sorta high right now from it...like a G6!!! haha...

Sickness please fly away...

I hate being sick!  Being sick for two times last year was the worst two days of the year >< and I was I was cured in one night...but now is a different mater, it's already two days >< Not a good sign at all...


But what I do when I'm sick is to pretend I'm not...
So far I've eaten as much as I normally do...even tho I've got no appetite.
Trying to exercise, even tho I'm weak...


The only thing I'm doing too much is to sleep...I think I've slept more now then I have for a few years.


Gah...I dont want to be sick during chinese new year ><
If I'm not making any sense, blame my sickness xD
