Drum Exam

On the second of November, I'll be taking my Grade 8 Drum Exam for the second time. I really pray that I will get more than a pass since its my second time doing it.

SASA'd

Today was a very...very...very long day. I left the house at ten and just came back at eight thirty. Well it was not a wasted day at least.

We first went to Malaysian Care. My parents went to inquire about something while I went with my siblings to a charity shop by SIBKL. I was shocked to find books such as romance novels and Philip Pullman's Northern Lights there.

Then we went off to eat dim sum! Mmmmm xD.

After that we went to Pudu where we collected our speaker back after being in repair for more than a month from Darson. Then I went and bought my sister a cassette/mp3 converter thingy.

Then we went to HELP where I made an important decision in my life--college. I signed up for my SASA scholarship and signed up for Foundation in Science...=( ...hoped I made the right decision.

What an exciting day isn't it?...can't wait for school tomorrow xD

Wake up call

Today the most unexpected thing happened--well at least the most unexpected thing to me.

The speaker scolded the church!! =O. no, really I think the church needed it but still it was shocking.

The speaker, whom I shall not mention (firstly, because I'm not sure how to spell his name. secondly, well, so those who were there will know only. And thirdly because I feel like it xD), scolded the church because of our brokenness and complacency.

I've only been in this church for four years and I think anyone who visits will know that it is a hurting church. Why?

1. The cold shoulder given by older members.
2. The age gap between the very old and very young...meaning that people who grew up in the church, don't come back after college).

The main reason for the hurt is the sacking of the senior pastor five years back. Now we have a new pastor, but after three years of serving God in this church, not everyone supports him--but I support you pastor! The hurt from the past led to the complacency.

Thank you Speaker for showing us what God has said through you. Thank you for the wake up call that this church needed. I hope that PJEFC will still invite you back after this momentous sermon.

I really hope to see this hurting church heal. After all how is it suppose to help the world when it's body is broken?

Holiday again?

I don't know about all of you, but I think that there are a bit too many Holidays this year.

This quarter alone there has been around ten days of holiday.

Now there's another holiday today and Monday. This is not good because I still need to finish all my work this year and

the holidays are not helping one bit.

SATs the finished

Finished the SATs yesterday, and I got one word to describe it: WOW.

Well, it wasn't as hard as I thought (I rather say this before I get my results). It was nice, provoking, and challenging.

I saw Huey Sing during the breaks and got the same room as David, but I didn't see Shen Yen or Kok Thong, both which were suppose to be there.

Hoped we all did well xD

Weeeee!!!

Two reasons why I'm happy!!!!

1) A new phone!!!! Yay!! Though I have some regrets getting a SE T700, I guess I'm more happy than not. There goes my savings xD

2) Mog-exam over!! I got through with a high score, but I think the examiner was too kind.

Well the other thing is that SATs is this Sat!!!! Well I'm not entirely happy, but I think that I'm ready...pray for me!
