Hope Locked Inside

here's another original song/poem. this one talks about the christian who does not spread the truth about Jesus to the world. it is about the christian who locks the saviour inside and keeps Him there.

Verse 1:
There is hope for the world
To save all mankind
We know this hope
As Jesus devine.
He left His throne
And came down to us.
So that we'll receive
The Father's love.

Chorus:
But the hope that He gave
Has been pushed aside
And the love that He gave
Has been locked up inside
The people that love Him
Has covered the truth
From the ones who needed it most!

Verse 2:
Who needs the doctor
The well or the sick?
Who needs the saviour
The saved or unsaved?
For he gave His life
So that all will live
All who'll repent
And turn a new leave.

Add (speaking):
Jesus said, "Go ye into all the earth and preach the good news."
But what have we, his people, done? Have we reached out?
Have we walked in the truth? have we preached the good news?

Bridge:
What is the point
Of keeping Him in
And out of this world?
'Cause He gave his life
For all who'll believe
As said in His word.
So bring back the hope
That he brought to this world
As said in His word.

The Road to Rejection

here is a song/poem i wrote recently entitled "The Road to Rejection". it speaks about about how a christian goes through a time of backsliding enjoy!

verse 1:
He is going on a journey
Away from all challenges.
Truting his life
To luck and chances.
Turning his back
On the things he believed in
Breaking down within.

chorus:
Where is this road leading to--
This wide and smooth road?
Where is he going?
What is she doing?
On this road to rejection!

verse 2:
She is going through the valleys
Over the mountains and the seas,
But she gave up half the way.
And turned around with ease.
Now she goes on with no purpose,
No meaning to live;
Nothing to give.

Bridge 1:
Where are their lives going?
Not reaping or sowing.
Their backs are turned away
And go further each day.
From the one
Who gave his only son.

Bridge 2:
People, return to Jesus,
All the poor, rich, or famous.
Accept Him once more--
On the wings of eagles soar.
Let Him be your guide again--
The name above every name!!

Gifted

here's another idea i have for a would-be novel...not sure which i'll finish first though. ENJOY!!

Prologue

Ever since early B.C., a secret war has raged on across the globe between two powerful forces. They are the Gifted and the Taken. The ones who call themselves the Gifted can transport things from a parallel dimension into our world. Those of the Taken have unlimited abilities. Each member receives a unique gift when he joins the Taken's cause.

Their purpose for war differs. The Gifted plan to rid the world of chaos and destruction, while the Taken desire their master, who is corruption in every sense of the word, known as the Overlord, to rule Earth.

I know it sounds quite lame now...but wait til i finish xD

a thinker's thoughts--Mine technically

i love to reflect on things...so here is wat i think would be a great ministry for a rainy day.

4 a rainy day ministry

First buy, make...etc. some umbrellas (Make sure it has the address pocket on its handle)

Second put the address of a church nearby into the address pocket.

Third wait for a rainy day.

here's where it really begins...

send a group of volunteers out with a bunch of umbrellas. these bunch are to look for anyone wothout an umbrella and hand them one--tell them its free or they'll never take it.

if anyone was touched by this act of kindness, they will look for the church responsible and return the umbrella. there it is up to the church to do their thing.

cool idea right? i thought about it when i was looking out of the car on a rainy day, seeing people running from the rain.

The Hood of Niadris

here is my attempt of writting a novel...
entitled: The Hood of Niadris.
it will be (if successful) part of a series of books called: The Legends of Brack

this is the prologue:

Prologue

In the time of powerful magicians—the time when the Great Magician Himself walked the land—Brack was a peaceful and prosperous land. The Great Magician and the Gardeons, his disciples, taught the inhabitants of Brack the ways of righteousness.

But the Great Magician had to leave Brack and return to Godholm when one of his own Gardeons, Avongel, betrayed him and corrupted the land. The Great Magician left His Gardeons in Brack to keep Avongel from completely distorting the land. They succeeded in pushing Avongel and his grotesque armies of cryans and evoluns south, and managed to trap Avongel there. Avongel took control of this place and it became known as Tophet, the land of smoke.

In case Avongel was to ever break the spell that held him there, Niadris, a magician fawn and disciple of Halbark, one of the Great Magician’s disciples, forged a helmet with the knowledge of ending the reign of Avongel. By forging this powerful instrument, Niadris quickly made enemies, mainly bounty hunters, hoping to gain something back from Avongel by destroying it. Fleeing for his life, Niadris hid the helmet in the Forest of Halbark, his mentor. There in the enchanted forest, the helmet was safe. No sensing Aizon could penetrate the magical thickness of the forest of Halbark.

After a few decades of imprisonment, Avongel found a loophole, through the Menelandine border. He released his Raiders of Night, his messengers of death, to prepare for his return to Brack. The Raiders began a reign of terror. In every village, town, or city visited by these Raiders, only ruins were left behind. Armies of any kind fell to the feet of these Raiders. Nothing stood in their way.

More recently, the Raiders have completely devastated the territory of Meneland and have moved north into Kanine. Their direction of destruction seems to be north and their next possible motion is east till the Avas Sea--in this way, destroying all of Brack from east to west.

Hope in Hopelessness

This Easter, PJEFC's CUG (college-university group) will be performing a play based on the accounts of the Jairus' daughter, the woman with the issue of blood, and the leper. This play will center around the theme of hope. Hope that Jesus will heal.
Come and watch this play in PJEFC at 9:30 am this Sunday.

A Say for Today

If right-handers use their left brain, doesn't it mean that left-handers are always in the right mind??
