4 a rainy day ministry
First buy, make...etc. some umbrellas (Make sure it has the address pocket on its handle)
Second put the address of a church nearby into the address pocket.
Third wait for a rainy day.
here's where it really begins...
send a group of volunteers out with a bunch of umbrellas. these bunch are to look for anyone wothout an umbrella and hand them one--tell them its free or they'll never take it.
if anyone was touched by this act of kindness, they will look for the church responsible and return the umbrella. there it is up to the church to do their thing.
cool idea right? i thought about it when i was looking out of the car on a rainy day, seeing people running from the rain.
